At MAS Staten Island center we give our youth a safe and engaging Islamic environment where we build the foundation of a community within their hearts. We provide them with the skills, knowledge, and tarbiya needed to develop strong bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood, and the collaborative spirit to bring positive change to our wider Muslim and non-Muslim community through educational, spiritual, recreational, and social activities.

Our Mission

Our mission is to constantly keep our members active and help them turn their hearts towards the Creator. We want to give youth a safe Islamic environment where we provide them with the skills, knowledge, and Tarbiya needed to develop the collaborative spirit to bring positive change to our wider Muslim and Non- Muslim community.

Our Services

Our center was established in 2011. In the past decade, we have been aiming to create and offer resources that allow the Muslim community in our borough to grow stronger. We provide daily prayers, Halaqas, lectures, events, trips, and various other activities that foster an Islamic education.

Our Vision

Our vision is to develop and nurture a youth-centric and engaging environment led by young Muslim Americans empowered by their faith to serve their society and reach out to individuals facing spiritual challenges.

Our Commitment

We believe a masjid is more than just a place for prayer. It’s a second home where our children meet to learn, play and pray together. We have a full-time working staff that upholds our goals through their dedicated planning, outreach, and volunteering.
